Welcome Readers, Strangers, & Friends!
I'm so excited for your visit! Feel free to take your time, check out what books I have to offer, who I am, and what I'm about! Be sure to check out My Virtuous Journey Blog, Also, don't be shy! Write Me Back! I welcome your questions and comments concerning my books, as well as any suggestions for improving this website!
Not only is this site designed to get you better acquainted with me (and my "writings"), but I also have a desire to bring you on my journey of becoming a Virtuous Woman. In fact, I mean to spark a fire in your heart. The same fire that has been sparked in mine. I intend to start a Virtuous Revolution. It's time for the Lord's handmaidens to become the warrior princesses they are called to be. It's time for us to humble ourselves, pray and fast, and refuse to continue to "quench the Spirit" by following the culture rather than our Lord. As I continue on my journey, I hope to ignite a hunger in you to do the same. As Paul said, "Follow me as I follow Christ", and please, hold me accountable and keep me in prayers. We need each other.
With Love in Christ,
Alexandria M.K. Piche
Let thine handmaid be a servant, to wash the feet of the servants of my Lord. ~ 1 Samuel 25:41
Quench not the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8

Beauty For AshesA collection of poems taking you through the adventures of a young woman as she journeys deeper in her walk with the Lord, and finds her place in His plan. Beauty for Ashes expresses the growing-pains of every Christian who chooses to surrender their lives for God's use, and exchange the ashes of their past, with it's tragedies, fears, and struggles, for the beauty found in living for Him.
The title is derived from the book of Isaiah (61:3): “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Afternoon Prayers: A Monologue
In this short-story monologue, you enter the mind of a young mother as she's saying her afternoon prayers. She pours out all her fears and hopes, as she searches to ultimately find rest for her thoughts. |
