If you're on this site as a casual observer, let me let you in on a secret: I'm a newly published Author! (eBook) Though you probably already knew I was an author from the rest of the page, you may not have known that I'm new. So that's the big secret.
If you're one of my readers, This post is essentially for you. I need your help.
My recently published book, Beauty For Ashes, isn't being noticed very much since the free promotion ended. Because of this, it's gotten to the point where it's so low on the list on amazon.com (less and less people are getting it, which places it lower on the list), that no one is finding it unless they're searching for it specifically. I'm pretty sure that most people who would search for it specifically already have, and I want to get the book out there more. That's why I'm asking for your help. I know the best kind of "advertisement" is word of mouth. So if you already have the book and have enjoyed it, suggest it for a friend. If you don't have it yet, check it out and see what you think. I'm an unknown author, no one is searching for my name unless they know me personally. The main way people will get to know my work is if my readers suggest it.
Also, if you've read it already, I would encourage you to write a customer review. Good or bad. It's an unknown book by an unknown author - no one knows what to expect unless there are customer reviews to be read to help them form an opinion.
Oh, and just a teaser: I'm cooking up the next book, only this one isn't going to be poetry, it's gonna be something like a Christian Sci-Fi. I can't tell you much more, except this: If God gave you the opportunity to explore the depths of your heart and mind as if they were a whole world within you, what do you think you'd find? What would you try to hide? ...And would you make it out alive?
